Refund & Cancellation Policy
At Bulb Electrics, we are committed to delivering high-quality electrical services and ensuring customer satisfaction. This policy explains our approach to refunds, cancellations, and amendments.
1. Deposits

A 50% deposit is required before work begins.

This deposit covers booking confirmation, scheduling, and any materials purchased in advance.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has started or materials have been ordered.
2. Cancellations

If you cancel more than 48 hours before the agreed start date and no materials have been purchased, your deposit will be refunded in full.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start date, or after materials have been purchased, the deposit will be retained.

If you cancel after work has begun, you will be charged for the work completed and any materials used.
3. Cooling-Off Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If the contract was agreed at your home, online, or over the phone, you have 14 days to cancel unless you request that we start work sooner.
If you request an immediate start, you waive your right to a full refund for work already completed or materials purchased.
4. Refunds for Workmanship Issues

If our work is found to be defective within 12 months due to workmanship, we will repair it at no extra cost.

If a repair is not possible, a partial or full refund will be provided.

Refunds will not be issued for work that meets agreed specifications and legal safety standards.
5. Materials

Faulty materials supplied by us will be replaced or refunded in line with manufacturer warranties.

This does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or alterations by third parties.
